Huskies Travel to Sun Bowl After Two-Year Ban on Post-Season Play

After suffering under a two-year bowl ban imposed by the Pac-10 Conference, the UW football team returns to post-season play Dec. 29 at it meets the University of Iowa Hawkeyes in the 1995 Sun Bowl, held in El Paso, Texas.

The UW Alumni Association is offering a travel package to the bowl game site which includes transportation and lodging.

There will be a Washington Warm-Up held three hours prior to the kickoff featuring refreshments, Husky merchandise and entertainment. The warm-up will be held near the stadium. Some type of evening event is also being planned for the night prior to the bowl game.
