Long-Term Care Planning is Latest Member Benefit

The UW Alumni Association is pleased to offer its members a new benefit.

Long Term Preferred Care Inc. is offering long-term care coverage to pay for such services as nursing homes and skilled care. Over the next few months, alumni ages 55-84 will receive an informational mailing about the program and rates offered by Long Term Preferred Care.

  • Borrowing privileges at UW Libraries
  • Husky Career Advantage, a comprehensive career-assistance program featuring job search links, a résumé posting service, career information resource listings and Husky Connections, a database that connects you with UW alumni willing to share career advice and networking strategies
  • University Book Store patronage refund (for members who have completed at least 15 UW credits)
  • Discounts on merchandise from the DawgHouse, the Tequila Club, UW Press catalog orders, Kaplan Educational Centers test prep courses, and drama and music performances on campus
  • Nordstrom Tennis Center privileges (for paid-in-full life members)
  • Discounted rates at Washington National Golf Club.

If you're not currently a member of the alumni association, you can join today by calling (206) 543-0450 in Seattle, 1-800-AUW-ALUM outside of Seattle, or signing up online.
