Amy Violet Hall You asked for a vote. Mine is for Professor Amy Violet Hall, of the HSS dept. in the College of Engineering, 1949 to approximately 1959. She ran against the grain of engineering students and tradition by advocating the worth of a liberal education for engineers, and introduced me to literature, famous thinkers of the last three thousand years, and the fact that there are several great world religions that have a lot to say.
